Gateway health
The Artemii gateway answers a simple health check. If it loads, the gateway is up.
A slow first reply is normal
The AI switches off when nobody is using it. The first message after a quiet period wakes it and can take a few minutes. You will see it getting ready, and the answer arrives on its own. Pictures wake their own machine the same way.
Something looks wrong
Email hello@mayfairmail.com with what you were doing and the time. If you use the API, include the x-request-id response header.
Errors in the API
Codes such as 503 model_starting mean the model is waking up. See Errors and limits for what to retry.
We do not publish uptime figures or incident history yet. When we do, they will be here.
